Personal Statement:
"I’ve always been interested as a young child in space and medicine.
I became interested in robotics in middle school when my older brother joined
our local FIRST team in high school. I have been apart of FIRST (For Inspiration
Recognition in Science and Technology) Competition for seven years and currently
also working with the Robot Chicks Union (RCU), to inspire females of all ages
in science, math and technology. We are all a part of the future and have to
make this world a better place for us to live and to continue exploring beyond
our home planet Earth. I hope to get my BS in Mechanical Engineering and perhaps
go on to get a Masters Degree in Biomedical-Engineering. I hope to help society
in some way."
